My wife and I loved this album back when it came out. I really overplayed it (like anything that my wife loves as much as me) and I haven't actually spun it in a couple of years now. I should listen again, so thanks for the reminder.
Mitchell
Cool. Make sure you vote for it too.

I like Shack pretty well myself. Can't believe that Natalie's Party didn't make that compilation! As much as I like Fable I might like this one even more (not Shack exactly but close enough).

Mitchell
"Natalie's Party" not being on there was pretty WTF!

Mitchell you wouldn't mind reupping the first link? (rather hear the album than a compilation) Having started like ten of these threads I feel obliged.
Mitchell
Yeah tomorrow.

Wow - I bought it when it came out and my wife (girlfriend at the time) played the hell out of it and loved it at the time. It's funny how it ends up in the car for long drives.

I recently picked up 'The Fable Sessions' - not really hearing a lot of differences - but they're subtly there. And of course I continue to scour rekkid stores in all kinds of little towns for 'Waterpistol' ...

The last two records have been very good ... but not touching HMS Fable/Fable Sessions for me ... Thanks for bringing up a good memory.
Mitchell
I will get on the fish soon.

would you mind re-uping HMS Fable or Waterpistol if you have it? I used to read Ink Blot and they always raved about this band, and i have never got a chance to hear them.
