no, not really.
i host a talk show wed mornings w/a male cohost (10-11am CST, www.wsum.org). In honor ("honor") of Valentine's day, we're doing a "gender-themed" show tomorrow, where we will be discussing current events that relate to gender roles.
So far I have detailed info about reproductive rights (access to Plan B, FDA/OTC status, etc.) I am looking for more suggestions on things to talk about. The show primarily centers on current events, w/a few personal anecdotes & fluff pieces thrown in. My cohost was trying to dredge up an old Maxim story about "100 things you need to know about women," or something to that effect.
if you can contribute
1) links to stories about gender roles (funny or otherwise)
2) info about current events on this topic
3) personal anecdotes about gender roles/stereotypes
4) anything else of this nature
i would be greeeeatly appreciative. plus, you can listen to your stories tomorrow online :-)
(any funny stories about valentine's day/relationship mishaps are also welcome, assuming they're not vulgar & are entertaining.)
thanks much, friends.
