I thought that Supersilent 8 CD Really Really Sucked, sounded like a bad attempt at Ambient.

Lets see what other albums I thought sucked people posted as well:

Gorilla Mash - Shape of Broad Minds (first track got me all pumped up) That album was garbage.

Sir Richard Bishop - Blah

Perfuse 73 - Horrible

Oceansize

Watina
-----------------
Not Totally Garbage but almost:

Blockhead

Lampshade

Tommy Guerrero

Hot Hot Heat

Now for the albums people posted that were awesome (KEEP POSTING THE GOOD STUFF PEOPLE):

Davandra Banhart
Beirut
Rilo Kiley
Josh Ritter
Matt Pond PA
Windmill

Keep posting the Awesome stuff please lighten up on the crap posting.

I HOPE I MADE THOSE PEOPLE WHO POST BAD ALBUMS MAD !!! LOL

4. Passara - Alem, Jaimie
5. Sai Do Sereno - Gil, Gilberto
6. Mane Joao - Carlos, Erasmo
7. Pontos De Luz - Costa, Gal
8. Corista De Rock - Lee, Rita
9. Sete Cahorros - Joyce
10. O Canto Da Ema - Gil, Gilberto

i could get those songs separated in my collection... except for the fact that some of them are really bad. i don't even need to listen to this to say, this is not a good comp.

and what's with the cover art? damn that's bad...

Wow, could you really do that? Your collection must have an enviable girth.

Would you mind posting an edited version from your collection and save us from exposure to the really bad ones. You can leave some of the merely bad ones in though.

i've done better and posted some good albums on another topic.

it's hard for me to upload stuff, since my upload is really slow...

my edited version would be:
1. Amor - Secos & Molhados
3. Tinindo Trincado - Novos Baianos
6. Mane Joao - Carlos, Erasmo
11. America Tropical - Novos Baianos
12. Mosca No Sopa - Seixas, Raul*

Ok I posted the original post below that someone people liked and others hated, now I would like to request a few dif genres I see every now and again that are really really good picks usually by you guys, I listen to only new stuff so please don't post 2005 or 2006 stuff in the 2007 which should be obvious by the topic but here's what would fill my musical soul right now that you guys might be able to scourage up.

1.Independant rap groups that have rap that is melodic (Coming to mind here is Movemeant or Tonedef) , I don't like inde/underground rap that trys to be more gangsta than the mainstream or more ambient with cooler new beats that just seem to mess up their flows. Most good rap is a balance of good beats with a good flow, there are exceptions of course but the rule is usually good beats with a good flow in equal proportion, stop posting those artists that try to be more deep or more ambient, it doesn't work and it doesn't feel like rap should.

2.Foreign artists who sound like artists I know in the US. I loved whoever posted Xavier Rudd he reminded alot of a John Mayer or maybe a little of a Jamaican raggae artist (maybe a little like Marley), I would love to see more english singers (including people fron non-english speaking countries who sing songs in english) and overall I feel that is the greatest contribution of posters is the people who post Artists from different countries to broaden everyones horizon past thinking inside the normal geographical musical confines.

How about you guys, what would you like to see more of?

Thanks for the Wolves In The Throne Room album. It is utterly beautiful and quite sure to appear in the upper regions of my EOY list.

They are really an exciting group. Diadem of 12 Stars was my number one or two last year and I'm just very glad that there's a band out there that are (seemingly now) consistently making the metal of my dreams. For me it is a perfect heavy companion to Burial's clattering electronic bliss.

Downloading Blues Control now. I've never heard them but a feature in VICE piqued my interest. I'd love to make evil music with my girl.

drop date is October 23rd. I have heard nearly the whole thing, and while it has some slow points, there's still some cool, funky sections in this one. If you're a fan of the 2 LTE albums, and don't mind John Petrucci's abscence (he was with his wife at the hospital when she was in labor when this stuff was recorded..timing wasn't the best I guess).
