This will probably be moving up and up my radar this week.

Hope I remember to go online when I come home tonight.

i don't think i will ever in my life listen to the last 2 albums posted in this thread.

fact.

I'm going to change this attitude, with regard to rap.

I hate to be this guy, but I'm in a pinch and have no other options.

I was about to undertake a Broken Social Scene marathon and discovered that I'm missing:

BSS - S/T --- Found this.
Feist - Let It Die

Don't know what happened to these albums on my PC, but they're no longer.

If anybody can fish these, I'd be greatly appreciative. If not, I understand.

Sunburned Hand of the Man - Fire Escape

I've been enjoying the shit out of this the past few days, so I thought I'd pass it along to any who are interested. Kieran Hebden (of Four Tet fame) produced the record as well as played on it. Essentially he took what Sunburned recorded and then manipulated it and filtered it through his 'vision' of what Sunburned should sound like. It's a great record.

why not? Liquid Tension Experiment produced some of the best Instrumental albums of the past 30 years. Anyone who dug them, would want to hear that.

If it sounds half as good as the album cover looks, I'm all over it.

that's precisely it, isn't it? i'm judging this album by it's cover and i feel fine about that.

I'm going to change this attitude, with regard to rap.

i used to like rap, a lot actually. it all kind of started fading in the early 90's when things went really poppy or really gangster. i still really dig instrumental hip-hop stuff, always have and occasionally i will get into some new stuff, but it has to be something really different. i can't stand the braggadocio and all the stupid pop-culture references in most rap these days. plus, hip-hop is usually a let down live.

So you like this one, Mitch?

It's not Up the Bracket but it's no Down in Albion either (which I liked more than most). Second half is my favourite stuff he's done since the Libs' debut. Pretty great record overall and if the other stuff's any indication, it's only going to grow on me.

You post good stuff, guy.

Thank you!

Quick side question. Sunburned Hand of the Man puts out a ridiculous amount of material. Most of it forms as CD-R/CS under their label, "Manhand". Soooo ... my question is who distributes that stuff? Where can I get ahold of some of it?

amazing. Elisa from Magik Markers tears it up. Real good mix of quiet and loud on it.

as for Sunburned stuff, check Aquarius, Fusetron Sound, and Volcanic Tongue. Their stuff sells out really fast, so..
